Midas - Automotive Store Managers
About The Position
Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking full-time Store Managers for its service, repair, and tire center in Sylvania, Ohio. The Store Manager manages a retail store location and works to maximize profitability by driving sales, monitoring inventory and expenses, managing personnel, and controlling operating costs. The role includes implementing and managing sales programs and directing technicians and mechanics to complete vehicle repair and maintenance work safely, on time, and to a high standard. Store Managers communicate directly with customers, assess their needs, explain requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and work to ensure customer satisfaction. Managers use a digital dashboard to track performance and weekly earnings and lead by example in support of Midas's sales initiatives and position as a tire and auto service retailer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail store management experience, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality service in a fast-paced environment.
