About The Position

Apple Autos is seeking a highly driven Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join its dealership team. The role involves completing repair orders, diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, inspecting used vehicles, maintaining shop equipment, and communicating repair needs to service advisors. Requirements

Hold a valid driver’s license.
Be team-oriented, flexible, high-energy, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, and air-conditioning equipment.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience as an automotive technician.
Vocational or technical education, or certification.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
Work independently and as part of a team to maximize repair efficiency.
Document repairs clearly and concisely to help ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
Repair automotive systems, including steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, to specification.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors in non-technical terms.
Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
Continue training to stay current with technology and techniques for the vehicle model lines.
