About The Position

Apple Autos is seeking a highly driven Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join its dealership team. The technician performs repairs and inspections to dealership standards, documents work, maintains shop equipment, and stays current with vehicle technology and repair techniques. Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Be team-oriented, flexible, energetic, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, and air-conditioning equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience as an automotive technician.
• Vocational or technical education or certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively to maximize repair efficiency.
• Detail and document repairs clearly to help ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
• Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
• Repair automotive systems, including steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, to specification.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors in non-technical language.
• Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
• Continue training to stay current with technology and techniques for the vehicle model lines.
