About The Position

Neil Huffman Automotive Group is seeking Parts Counter Consultants for its Volkswagen, Mazda, and Subaru locations. The role assists retail customers, outside sales representatives, service technicians, and other dealership departments with parts selection, orders, and related service. Consultants are expected to provide friendly, professional, efficient customer service and maintain a neat, professional appearance in their person and work area. Arriving before the designated starting time and performing other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor are also expected. Requirements

Previous parts counter experience.
Detail oriented.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and expose customers to the full product line.
Pull purchased parts from stock.
Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information.
Assist the outside sales representative with orders.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers by phone and in person.
Provide other dealership departments with the same high level of service given to customers.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance and work area.
Arrive before the designated starting time.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
