About The Position

Anderson Outdoor in St. Joseph is hiring an Automotive Parts Counter Person. The role oversees parts sales from customer inquiry through locating the part and invoicing the customer. The person works with the parts manager to locate parts that are not in stock, completes special-order requests, and updates customers about ordered parts and their delivery to the dealership. The position also involves communicating professionally and courteously with staff and customers, following company safety policies and procedures, and complying with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., hold a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Anderson Auto Group is an EEOC-compliant employer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry through finding the part and invoicing the customer.
• Work with the parts manager to locate parts that are not in stock.
• Complete special-order part requests for parts that need to be ordered for customers.
• Communicate the status of ordered parts to customers and notify them when parts arrive at the dealership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
