About The Position

Neil Huffman Automotive Group is seeking Parts Counter Consultants at its Volkswagen, Mazda, and Subaru locations. The role assists retail customers and dealership departments with parts selection, pricing, orders, and service needs. Consultants are expected to provide friendly, professional, and efficient service by phone and in person while maintaining a neat, professional appearance and work area. They must arrive before their designated starting time and perform other duties assigned by their immediate supervisor. Requirements

Previous parts counter experience.
Detail-oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and present the full product line.
Pull purchased parts from stock.
Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information.
Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers by phone and in person.
Provide the same high level of service to other dealership departments as to other customers.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance and work area.
Arrive before the designated starting time.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
