About The Position

Auto-Wares is seeking a full-time Counter Sales team member for its Auto Value store in Dearborn, Michigan. This is an in-store sales and customer service position with training opportunities and potential for advancement. The company is willing to train the right candidate. The role also includes backup driving and delivery duties as needed. Counter Sales team members are the front line of sales for Auto-Wares Company Stores. They provide customer service, process sales and returns, operate computer and cash systems, help maintain an organized store, and work with the delivery system to provide service. They also support less experienced team members and keep management informed about customer issues and competition.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
No major driving violations and no more than one minor violation in the last three years.
At least 18 years of age.
Pass a physical examination and drug screen.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.
Outstanding communication skills and a professional customer-service approach.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional customer service and follow up with customers.

Pursue sales and complete customer transactions.
Operate computer systems and cash systems, and multitask as needed.

Coordinate with the delivery system to provide service; drive for deliveries as needed.
