About The Position

Myrtle Beach Automotive is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Assistant to support its parts department. The position helps keep operations running smoothly by organizing, stocking, and distributing parts to service technicians. The successful candidate will be organized, motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn, including forklift operation. Forklift training and certification are provided. Previous parts or warehouse experience is helpful but not required; the employer will train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift boxes or parts as required, typically 25–50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Prior parts or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and place them in the correct bins accurately and efficiently.
• Retrieve parts from inventory to support service technicians in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized parts storage areas, including tire displays and inventory shelves.
• Keep the department clean and safe, including breaking down and removing cardboard boxes and debris.
• Tag, label, and store returned parts according to department procedures.
• Learn to operate a forklift safely; training is provided.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Parts Manager to support department operations.
