About The Position

Myrtle Beach Automotive is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Assistant to support the parts team by organizing, stocking, and distributing parts for the service team. The role includes receiving and storing incoming parts, retrieving parts for technicians, maintaining organized and clean storage areas, and handling returned parts according to department procedures. The successful candidate should be organized, motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn. Forklift training is provided.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift boxes or parts, typically 25–50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

• Prior parts or warehouse experience; not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and place them in the correct bins efficiently and accurately.
• Retrieve parts from inventory to support service technicians in a timely manner.
• Maintain orderly parts storage areas, including tire displays and inventory shelves.
• Keep the department clean and safe, including breaking down and removing cardboard boxes and debris.
• Tag, label, and store returned parts according to department procedures.
• Learn to operate a forklift safely; training is provided.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Parts Manager to support department operations.
