About The Position

White Plains Honda is a leading automotive dealership committed to providing exceptional customer service and professional growth opportunities for our employees. We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Office Manager to join our team. The Automotive Office Manager will consult and collaborate with General and Department Managers to identify operational opportunities and implement initiatives that drive revenue growth and cost savings. This role requires strong leadership, accounting expertise, and excellent communication skills to ensure all store transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in office or administrative management.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting office functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, and collections.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on teamwork and customer relations.
  • Proficient in typing, 10-key, and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ADP software.
  • Willingness to follow and enforce company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior dealership office management experience is a plus but not required; training is available for the right candidate.
  • Technology-savvy and adaptable to new tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all dealership office transactions and ensure timely, accurate processing.
  • Work closely with management to identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Manage accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and financial controls.
  • Coach and train office staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Focus on margin expansion and cost control measures.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
