In this position, you will establish the outside-in market view that guides Software Products' portfolio, roadmap. The role exists to replace fragmented inputs and assumption-driven planning with a repeatable market intelligence capability that brings customer priorities, competitor moves, ecosystem shifts, and category economics into one decision-ready view. You will own the market requirements and intelligence backbone for the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Suite and broader software portfolio by translating market sizing, unmet needs, OEM buying priorities, pricing signals, and partnership opportunities into clear recommendations for where HARMAN should play, how it should differentiate, and what should change in the portfolio. You will work across Product Management, Strategy, Customer Success, outbound product management, and Revenue teams. This is a decision-shaping role: it sharpens portfolio priorities, strengthens pursuit quality and reduces the risk of building or selling against an outdated market view.
