About The Position

Vista Toyota is seeking an experienced Certified Main Line Technician for its service team in Casper, Wyoming. The technician performs maintenance and repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards, diagnoses mechanical and electrical concerns, and test-drives vehicles to verify repair quality and safety. The role includes documenting findings and repairs and working with Service Advisors, the Parts team, management, and other technicians. The employer offers relocation and a sign-on incentive for ASE-certified technicians.

Requirements

• At least six active ASE certifications.
• At least two years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automotive systems.
• Strong diagnostic ability across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering and suspension, and HVAC.
• Commitment to quality work, ongoing training, and working well with the service team.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Toyota Master certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently and in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns accurately using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Provide clear labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to Service Advisors and management.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate and thorough repair documentation, including cause, correction, and specifications.
• Promote a fix-it-right-the-first-time mindset on every repair.
