About The Position
Glockner’s is seeking Automotive Mechanics ranging from entry-level to experienced technicians. The role involves maintaining and repairing vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards, diagnosing vehicle issues, and confirming repairs through road tests. Technicians also perform routine maintenance and communicate diagnosis, repair needs, and timelines to service advisors. Other duties may be assigned based on experience level.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of automotive repair experience.
- Valid, clean driver’s license.
- Complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Mechanical skills.
- Customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete vehicle maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose problems involving vehicle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, or HVAC systems.
- Road-test vehicles to confirm that repairs have been completed successfully.
- Perform routine maintenance as needed, including fluid checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, and oil changes.
- Communicate diagnosed problems, necessary repairs, and timelines to service advisors.
- Perform other duties assigned based on experience level.
