About The Position

Westlake Floorplan Company, a division of Westlake Financial Services, provides inventory financing to independent and franchise dealerships. The Automotive Floorplan Territory Manager builds and manages a portfolio of automotive dealerships by signing dealerships, driving sales, servicing accounts, and managing risk. The role calls for automotive-industry knowledge and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. It is remote and covers the Charleston, West Virginia area, with travel greater than 75%, including some overnight travel.

Requirements

Knowledge of the automotive industry across various sectors.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and collaborate with internal team members and external partners at various organizational levels.
Strong time-management skills and ability to manage deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
BA/BS in a related field and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
At least 2 years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections.
Ability to travel, fly, and drive; travel is greater than 75%, with some overnight travel required.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain automotive dealer clients.
Build and maintain relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to understand financing needs.
Identify portfolio growth opportunities by presenting financing solutions and promoting Westlake Floorplan Company’s offerings.
Conduct market research to remain competitive and align services with industry trends.
Oversee servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio and support high customer satisfaction.
Monitor account performance and proactively address client issues or concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
Provide dealerships with training and support on financing solutions and services.
Monitor dealership conditions and performance.
Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
