About The Position

Westlake Floorplan Company, a division of Westlake Financial Services, provides inventory financing to independent and franchise dealerships. The Automotive Floorplan Territory Manager builds and manages a portfolio of automotive dealerships by signing dealerships, driving sales, servicing accounts, and managing risk. The role requires automotive-industry knowledge and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships. It is remote and based in Laguna Hills, California, with travel greater than 75%, including some overnight travel. Compensation is performance-based and self-determined, with a base pay of $50,000 per year, a guaranteed bonus schedule during the first 12 months, and no limit on commissions. The posting states average earnings after one year of $114,764 and average earnings of $126,380 for the top 50 representatives. A monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program averages approximately $450.

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of the automotive industry across various sectors.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
A BA/BS in a related field and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
At least two years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections.
Ability to travel, fly, and drive; travel is greater than 75%, with some overnight travel required.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Valid driver's license; driving is an essential function, and alternative transportation is not an acceptable substitute.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain dealership clients.
Build relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers, and understand their financing needs.
Identify portfolio-growth opportunities by presenting financing solutions and promoting Westlake Floorplan Company offerings.
Conduct market research to remain competitive and align services with industry trends.
Oversee servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio and support high customer satisfaction.
Monitor account performance and proactively address client issues or concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
Provide dealerships with training and support on financing solutions and services.
Monitor dealership conditions and performance.
Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
