About The Position

CarShop, part of Penske Automotive Group, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Finance Manager (F&I) to support our sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience through vehicle financing and aftermarket product sales. As a key member of the dealership team, you'll help customers navigate the financing process while ensuring every interaction reflects the values and culture that set CarShop apart. This role plays a critical role in supporting the sales process and helping customers secure financing solutions while maximizing dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive F&I or automotive finance experience preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving strong performance results
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions while balancing efficiency and attention to detail
  • Organized, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to facilitate and/or conduct technical training to other employees
  • Computer proficient
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership, and organization
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; and two to three year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • AFIP Certification is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Present financing options and assist customers in securing competitive vehicle financing
  • Facilitate the sale of aftermarket products and protection plans
  • Ensure all financing and related documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Partner closely with the sales team to support vehicle sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and financial partners
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership, lender, state, and federal regulations
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the financing process
  • Support dealership goals while maintaining the integrity and culture that define CarShop
  • Assist with process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
