About The Position

KPA is looking for an experienced automotive F&I professional to join our growing team as an F&I Risk Management Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for Finance Managers, Directors, Controllers, Office Managers, Contracts Clerks, or dealership compliance professionals seeking a better work-life balance while staying connected to the automotive industry they know and love. The F&I Consultant will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to establish and demonstrate exceptional industry and regulatory knowledge through onsite field audits, deal jacket reviews, and employee trainings. The objective of the consultant is to help minimize risk and increase profitability for the client. You will be acting as an advisor to your assigned dealerships reviewing both state and federal compliance issues concerning Advertising, Sales, and Finance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership experience in F&I, sales compliance, accounting, or dealership operations
  • Strong understanding of dealership compliance and regulations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Comfortable with travel throughout the assigned territory
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to foster a strong compliance culture
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology platforms and mobile applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and mobile devices
  • Ability to manage accounts efficiently and document all activities in our CRM platform (Salesforce).

Nice To Haves

  • While this is a remote position based out of the employee’s home office, it will require frequent visits to clients within the territory, including overnight travel.
  • This position will ideally be based out of the Carlsbad, Temecula, North San Diego area.
  • This position will spend roughly 10 days per quarter traveling overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting onsite F&I compliance audits and deal reviews
  • Training dealership teams on state and federal compliance
  • Building strong relationships with dealer partners
  • Helping dealerships reduce risk and improve operational compliance
  • Advising on Advertising, Sales, and Finance regulations
  • Communicating and implementing sales and finance management compliance systems.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, documenting and submitting 20 referrals or sales leads per year to your area Account Executive.
  • Promoting productive relationships with dealer group management for KPA clients and State Dealer Association Management.
  • Performing in-person presentations on compliance responsibilities for a dealership and how KPA's product line is crucial for maintaining compliance.
