About The Position

BMW of Tigard, part of Holman, is seeking a Finance Consultant to support its finance and insurance (F&I) operation. The role helps customers access appropriate financing, payment protection, and other products and services related to their vehicle purchase. It also involves reviewing customer credit information, maintaining knowledge of F&I products and manufacturer policies, supporting sales consultants, and assisting desk managers as needed. This is a commission-eligible role. Holman states that employees can expect to earn an average of $10,000–$20,000 per month, with earning potential based on personal performance. Responsibilities

Maintain a successful finance and insurance (F&I) operation.
Ensure buyers are offered appropriate financing, payment protection, and other products and services for their vehicle purchase.
Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Process, review, and analyze customer credit reports, including confidential consumer credit history.
Assess customer credit history to determine the probability that a bank will accept a credit application.
Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturer policies.
Train and manage sales consultants on F&I products and related paperwork.
Maintain industry knowledge and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
Assist desk managers as necessary.
