About The Position

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization that serves customers across fleet management, vehicle fabrication and upfitting, component manufacturing, powertrain distribution and logistics, insurance and risk management, and retail automotive sales. BMW of Tigard is seeking a Finance Consultant to support its finance and insurance operation. The role helps customers access financing and relevant payment protection and other products, reviews customer credit information, and supports customer satisfaction and dealership operations. This is a commission-eligible role. Holman states that employees can expect to earn an average of $10,000–$20,000 per month, with earning potential based on personal performance. The position is listed as regular full-time. Nice To Haves

Two to five years of experience as an automotive finance manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a successful finance and insurance operation.
Ensure buyers are offered the opportunity to purchase financing, payment protection, and other appropriate products and services for their vehicle.
Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Process, review, and analyze customers’ credit reports.
Run customer credit reports containing detailed credit history and confidential consumer data.
Analyze customers’ credit histories to assess the probability that a bank will accept their credit applications.
Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers’ policies.
Train and manage sales consultants on products and paperwork related to finance and insurance products.
Maintain industry knowledge and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
Assist desk managers as necessary.
