About The Position

Holman is hiring Automotive Finance Consultants to join its team. Candidates must be based in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington, or Seattle/Lynnwood, Washington areas. The role supports dealership finance and insurance operations by presenting appropriate financing, payment protection, and other products and services to vehicle buyers; reviewing customer credit; and helping maintain customer satisfaction and successful F&I operations.

The position also involves follow-up on one-pay contracts and outstanding titles, maintaining knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturer policies, training and managing sales consultants on F&I products and paperwork, building industry relationships, and assisting desk managers as needed. This is a commission-eligible role. The employer states that employees can expect to earn an average of $10,000–$20,000 per month, with earning potential based on personal performance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• 2–5 years of experience as an automotive finance manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain successful finance and insurance (F&I) operations.
• Ensure buyers are offered the opportunity to purchase financing, payment protection, and other applicable products and services.
• Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
• Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
• Process, review, and analyze customer credit reports, including detailed credit history and confidential consumer data.
• Analyze customers’ credit histories to determine the likelihood that a bank will accept their credit applications.
• Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers’ policies.
• Train and manage sales consultants on F&I products and related paperwork.
• Maintain industry knowledge and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
• Assist desk managers as necessary.
