About The Position

Holman is seeking Automotive Finance Consultants to join its team. Candidates must be based in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington or Seattle/Lynnwood, Washington areas. The role supports the dealership’s finance and insurance operation, helps customers consider appropriate financing and related products, and works with sales and management teams to maintain customer satisfaction and complete finance-related processes.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

Two to five years of experience as an automotive finance manager.

Responsibilities

Maintain a successful finance and insurance operation.
Ensure buyers are offered the opportunity to purchase appropriate financing, payment protection, and other available products and services for their vehicle.
Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Process, review, and analyze customer credit reports.
Run customer credit reports containing detailed credit history and confidential consumer data.
Analyze customer credit history to assess the probability of a bank accepting a credit application.
Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers’ policies.
Train and manage sales consultants on products and paperwork related to finance and insurance products.
Maintain industry knowledge and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
Assist desk managers as necessary.
