About The Position

Honda Kingsport, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is hiring Automotive Express/Maintenance Technicians for its high-volume service team. Opportunities are available at two levels: Tech I, an entry-level maintenance technician role with starting pay of $17 per hour, and Tech II, an experienced maintenance technician role with starting pay of $20 per hour flat rate plus bonus. The position offers manufacturer-funded Honda training, career development and advancement opportunities, a climate-controlled facility, and a flexible four- or five-day work week. PTO begins accruing on the first day. Applicants must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, drug screening, and verification of a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Express Technician or Maintenance Technician experience.
• Automotive technical school education or training.
• Basic automotive maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Complete vehicle safety and multi-point inspections.
• Replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades.
• Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels.
• Check and adjust tire pressures.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership service standards.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
