About The Position

Sunset Kia of Sarasota is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer for its detailing department as it prepares to open a new facility. The role involves preparing vehicles for sale, delivery, or customers, including routine and advanced interior and exterior detailing. The detailer also helps maintain quality standards and train the detail team. Supplies and shop tools are provided, with steady work and competitive commission pay based on experience. The position offers full-time benefits. Candidates must be available Monday through Saturday. Candidates for hire must pass a background check and drug screen.

Requirements

Automotive detailing experience.
Flexibility and ability to perform all types of detailing work.
Valid driver's license.
Verifiable work history.
Ability to engage in physical work for extended periods.
Desire to develop and learn.
Dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Availability Monday through Saturday.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors for sale, delivery, or customers according to dealership standards.
Use power tools, waxes, cleaning solvents, and protective coatings to restore vehicles to like-new condition.
Perform advanced detailing as needed, including wet sanding scratches, buffing dull areas, and removing water spots.
Perform quality control and train the detail team to maintain high quality standards.
Keep the shop area neat, clean, and organized, and follow safety procedures and requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
