Lube and Tire Technician/Maintenance Technician - Sunset Kia of Sarasota
About The Position
Sunset Kia of Sarasota is hiring an entry-level Lube and Tire/Maintenance Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs. The role requires some basic skills, and company-paid training is provided, including required Kia manufacturer training toward certification. Candidates with previous automotive service experience and certifications are encouraged to apply. The position offers an opportunity for career advancement within Sunset Automotive Group. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Candidates must be able to work Monday through Saturday, up to six days per week. Applicants must have a valid Florida driver's license. All candidates for hire must pass a background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive service center or oil change facility is required; schooling may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license.

Nice To Haves
- Automotive schooling and/or ASE certifications are preferred.
- Previous automotive service experience and certifications are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform lube, oil, and filter changes efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including tire rotations and replacements, fluid flushes, and air and other filter replacements.
- Inspect vehicles and note maintenance and repair concerns.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Complete required Kia manufacturer training to become a certified Kia technician.
