About The Position
Sunset Kia of Sarasota, part of Sunset Automotive Group, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join its service team. The position is based at the dealership in Sarasota, Florida, in a newly constructed, air-conditioned facility with 14 service bays and new, state-of-the-art equipment. The shop provides built-in toolboxes. The dealership group describes itself as locally and family-owned, with stable management and long-tenured employees. The role offers top flat-rate pay, year-round work, a pay plan based on experience, and opportunities for growth. Relocation assistance is available; applicants should ask for details. Requirements
- Automotive service experience; two or more years is preferred.
- Good diagnostic skills.
- Flexibility to perform all types of work.
- Own tools; toolboxes are provided.
- Valid driver's license.
- Verifiable work history.
- Ability to engage in heavy lifting.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to continue education.
- Manufacturer and ASE certifications are considered.
- Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen before hire.
