About The Position

Sunset Kia of Venice is seeking a professional, experienced Service Advisor to join its team. The dealership is part of Sunset Automotive Group, a family-owned group with 10 brands at 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Service Advisors serve as the dealership service department’s point of contact for customers, communicating vehicle concerns and service needs between customers and the service team. The role requires strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with new and existing customers. The position offers competitive and stable pay plans and eligibility for the benefits listed below. Candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen before hire. Requirements

Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
Strong automotive knowledge and experience.
Outstanding customer service, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Valid driver's license.
Hold to the company values of honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service as the point of contact for automotive service customers.
Use active listening to understand customers’ vehicle issues and concerns.
Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians.
Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers, and advise and sell needed work.
Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process and keep customers updated.
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and technicians.
