About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring a Detailer responsible for cleaning and refurbishing vehicles to meet company quality standards. The work includes detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors and presenting each vehicle in pristine condition. Detailers use appropriate products and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards, keeping the workspace organized, following company policies, and providing excellent customer service. The position works in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoors. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for vehicle care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical stamina for manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to perform simple and fine motor hand manipulations.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Previous experience in automotive detailing.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to provide lasting shine and protection.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Select and use appropriate cleaning products and tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized detailing workspace.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
• Immediately report damage or other issues to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
