About The Position

CarShop is hiring an experienced Automotive Detailer to prepare vehicles for customer delivery and ensure each vehicle meets the company’s standards for appearance and presentation. The role is production-driven, with compensation based on flagged hours and an opportunity to increase earnings through efficiency and productivity. The listed earning potential is $45,000–$75,000 annually, with pay of $15.00–$17.00 per flag hour. The position is part of a supportive, team-oriented environment with opportunities for career growth within CarShop and Penske Automotive Group.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of automotive detailing experience; dealership experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet production goals.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
• Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent, and six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform basic math, understand and follow work rules and procedures, and apply common-sense understanding to instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments independently within given instructions, routines, and accepted practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous detailing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior detailing to CarShop quality standards.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery according to established procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic quality and cleanliness.
• Maintain detailing equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
