About The Position

Don Johnson Motors is hiring an Automotive Detailer in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. The role prepares new, used, and guest vehicles so they are clean, presentable, and ready when promised. No prior experience is required; the dealership provides paid training. The position is hands-on and active, and applicants with detailing experience as well as those new to the automotive industry are welcome.

The role involves collaborating with sales and service teams to prioritize vehicles and meet delivery times, checking completed work, and reporting damage or concerns. Detailers use cleaning products and equipment safely, keep their work area organized, and may move vehicles, occasionally shuttle guests, and help with general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new, used, and guest vehicles so they are clean, presentable, and ready when promised.
• Wash, dry, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and deep-clean upholstery, carpets, windows, and interior surfaces.
• Check finished work and report vehicle damage or concerns.
• Work with sales and service to prioritize vehicles and meet delivery times.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, and keep the work area organized.
• Move vehicles, occasionally shuttle guests, and help with general facility upkeep.
