About The Position

The Automotive Detailer works in the dealership’s Reconditioning and Detailing department, cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles to dealership specifications. The role also includes detailing customer vehicles. The shop is IGL Ceramic certified. The successful candidate is motivated, works well as part of a team, and can multitask. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., plus one Saturday every four weeks, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment background, motor vehicle record, and drug testing.
• Must be motivated, a team player, and able to multitask.
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements: regularly stand, crouch, and kneel, and frequently walk the lot to search for vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and buff new, used, and customer vehicles.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces.
• Treat leather and fabric surfaces.
• Handle special-purpose cleaners.
• Keep the work area neat and organized.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
