About The Position

U-Haul is hiring an Automotive Detail Specialist to clean and detail trucks and trailers, helping keep its fleet in top condition for customers. The role works in a detailing bay and production line, using U-Haul’s proprietary technology and company-provided tools and safety equipment. Team members can learn on the job, receive training through the Technician Training Program, and pursue advancement opportunities within the company. The schedule listed is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no weekends. The posting lists compensation as both $15.10–$16.10 per hour and $20–$25 per hour depending on experience. A paid hands-on working interview and a $100 hiring bonus are also mentioned. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Responsibilities

Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare that equipment for sale.
Use industry-standard safety equipment.
Work in a production line.
Provide assistance in additional areas as needed, following a supervisor’s direction and guidance.
