About The Position
Pennyrile Ford is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician for its service operations team in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The position is responsible for cleaning and presenting new and pre-owned inventory vehicles, as well as customer vehicles serviced by the dealership. The technician also provides general support as assigned by management, helping maintain a clean, professional, and organized dealership environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, professional, and able to contribute as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in automotive detailing; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Vacuum, shampoo, wax, polish, and apply protective treatments to vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for showroom display or customer delivery.
- Safely move vehicles around the lot and service area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay, detailing supplies, and workspaces.
- Assist with vehicle lot organization, service drive flow, and event setup as requested.
- Perform additional facility or general support tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow safety guidelines, cleanliness protocols, and company procedures.
