About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician cleans and reconditions vehicles, including washing them, cleaning interior surfaces, applying wax and protective sealant, and refurbishing headlights. The technician inspects vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery, maintains service tools and equipment, and works to meet customer requirements and the organization’s service and quality standards. Duties are primarily performed in a garage or outdoor environment in a fast-paced, team-based setting. The role may require work at other nearby job sites.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.
• Positive attitude.
• Weekend availability.

• Previous detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Remove trash from vehicle interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or buff surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights.
• Maintain the organization’s service and quality standards.
• Understand and meet specific customer requirements.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles for pre-delivery.
• Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
