About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician washes and details vehicles, cleans interior surfaces, applies wax and protective sealant, and refurbishes headlights. The position also includes inspecting vehicles before delivery, maintaining service tools and equipment, meeting customer requirements, and maintaining the organization’s service standards. Duties are primarily performed in a garage or outdoor environment as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Work at nearby job sites may be required, and weekend availability is required. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from vehicle interiors and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax and buff vehicle surfaces to protect them and preserve shine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbish headlights.
Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
Understand and meet specific customer requirements.
Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work at other nearby job sites when required.
