About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician cleans, inspects, and prepares vehicles, including vehicles undergoing pre-delivery inspection. The work involves washing vehicle exteriors, cleaning interiors, applying wax and protective sealant, buffing surfaces, and refurbishing headlights. The technician maintains service tools and equipment, meets customer requirements, and upholds the organization’s service standards. Duties are primarily performed in a garage or outdoors in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Work at nearby job sites may be required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.
• Positive attitude.

• Previous detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Remove interior trash and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or buff surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights.
• Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
• Understand and deliver to customers’ specific requirements.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles for pre-delivery.
• Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
