Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of California retail and basic DMV regulations.
Working knowledge of accounting.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional phone manner.
Computer proficiency.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of DMV and retail/wholesale deal documentation.
Automotive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Processes and enters all New and/or used retail deals with precise accuracy.
Screens deal files for missing documents, utilizing working knowledge of California retail and basic DMV regulations.
Issues refund checks, tracks and deposits customer checks.
Pays off trade-in loans and sets up equity checks.
Maintains current and accurate accounting schedules for Contracts in Transit, Vehicle receivables, and New and Used Inventory.
Performs assigned month-end tasks.
Responds to customer inquiries and requests professionally and within company timelines.
Communicates needed documents and missing items to department managers, following up with supervisors as needed.
Performs administrative duties such as data entry, word processing, filing, and copying.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor.
Other duties as assigned.
