About The Position

The Automotive Account Biller at Coggin Honda of Orlando reviews and verifies documentation related to customer vehicle purchases to ensure information is accurate and compliant with Asbury guidelines. The role examines contracts and deal jackets, reviews deals for errors, verifies completed and signed documents, processes paperwork, reconciles schedules, and posts new and used vehicle deals to the accounting books. The clerk also issues lien payoff checks, submits them to financial institutions, communicates and resolves issues with the Accounting Manager, and posts corrections as needed. The position requires attention to deadlines and an appropriate sense of urgency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in a busy office environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfort working in an open office.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Understand deadlines and apply an appropriate sense of urgency to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Examine contracts to ensure they conform to specified requirements.
• Review and verify deal jackets and paperwork for compliance with Asbury guidelines.
• Review all deals in the deal queue for errors.
• Verify that all documents are accurately completed and signed.
• Process paperwork in a timely manner.
• Reconcile schedules.
• Post new and used vehicle deals to the accounting books.
• Issue checks for lien payoffs and submit them to financial institutions.
• Communicate and resolve issues with the Accounting Manager.
• Post corrections daily when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
