About The Position

Copart is a technology leader and online vehicle auction platform that connects vehicle sellers with buyers worldwide. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining vehicle inventory at a facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, this role documents vehicle condition to company standards, including completing inventories and taking supporting photographs. The specialist directs traffic flow in the receiving area to support timely vehicle processing and uses knowledge of Copart policies to help address customer needs.

The position requires working outdoors in all seasons and complying with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Pay is $18.00–$20.29 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain an inventory of materials used.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
