About The Position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing facility vehicle inventory within company timelines, documenting vehicle condition to company standards, and directing traffic through the receiving area for timely processing. The role also involves helping meet customer needs by applying Copart policies and offering appropriate solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
• Driver’s license.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain an inventory of materials used.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
