About The Position

Lexus of Nashville is seeking motivated individuals to work as Automotive Sales and Leasing Consultants in a family-owned dealership. The role is presented as an opportunity to take ownership of work, grow professionally, and sell luxury vehicles. Consultants may sell inventory at either Lexus of Nashville or Lexus of Cool Springs, including new vehicles and more than 150 pre-owned units. The posting advertises potential annual earnings of $75,000 to $150,000 and provides Lexus training and reimbursement programs. Comprehensive sales training is available; prior sales experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to perform arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to operate vehicle technology, phones, computers, and social media.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least three years.
• Motivation, passion for luxury automobiles, strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and customer-service abilities, and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Sales experience is a plus but is not required.
