About The Position

Wipro is hiring an Automation Engineer for AP Automation with Agentic AI. The role focuses on test automation and requires experience with automation testing, Selenium, Java, API and UI testing, and Agentic AI. The engineer will write, execute, and debug Java automation scripts; support issue investigation using SQL and Linux; and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. The position is a contract role requiring 3–5 years of experience. The expected compensation ranges from $45,000 to $110,000, with final compensation dependent on factors including location, skills, and relevant experience. Requirements

Proven experience as an automation tester, including Selenium.
Strong understanding of testing concepts and strategies, including the defect life cycle.
Proficiency in SQL for data management and issue debugging.
Basic knowledge of Linux for troubleshooting and debugging.
Expertise in Java programming for automation testing and ability to write, execute, and debug automation scripts.
Experience in API testing and UI testing, with familiarity with tools such as Postman.
Experience in Agentic AI; this is a must.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
3–5 years of experience.
Test automation is a mandatory skill.
