About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring an Auto Parts Warehouse Worker for a warehouse role. Duties may align with shipping and/or receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role may also involve operating manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The listed pay is $20 per hour. This position does not supervise employees.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions, using guidance and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment when required and work around hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
• Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts or order pickers.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
• Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to transport product within the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
