Auto Parts Warehouse Worker (3rd Shift)
About The Position
LKQ Corporation is hiring an Auto Parts Warehouse Worker for a third-shift role. The position supports warehouse shipping and receiving activities, including processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock. The worker may operate manual or powered equipment to transport products. Pay is $20 per hour. The role follows established procedures and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager. It does not include supervisory responsibilities. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, cramped spaces, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels, and may need to wear personal protective equipment. Periodic travel, including overnight stays, may be required depending on position requirements.
Requirements
- Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate basic messages orally and write brief messages or keep simple records.
- Ability to follow standard procedures, clear directions, and supervisor- or manager-provided guidance and priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
- Prior experience operating PIT equipment, such as a forklift or order picker.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound products and put them away in designated locations.
- Pick or pull the correct products from the appropriate locations and deliver them to a staging area or delivery truck.
- Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products within the warehouse.
- Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
- Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
- Comply with established company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
