About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Painter for its new Pineville, North Carolina location. The painter primes vehicles and performs final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. The work takes place in a high-tech vehicle inspection and reconditioning center using state-of-the-art tools. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hours may be subject to overtime, including mandatory overtime based on business needs. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Able to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
