About The Position

Carvana is hiring Auto Painters to work in its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the progression of their skills and pay.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Passing a complete background check is required for hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
• Buff vehicles.
• Perform paint touch-up work.
• Mix paint.
• Perform airbrush work.
