About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Painter to prepare and paint vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees, with opportunities for skills and pay to progress. The job is in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a background check is a condition of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
• Buff vehicles and perform touch-up work.
• Mix paint and perform airbrushing.
• Use safety equipment as required.
