About The Position
Carvana is hiring Auto Painters to work in its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the progression of their skills and pay. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
- Perform buffing and touch-up work.
- Mix paint and perform airbrushing.
- Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
