About The Position

Carvana is hiring Auto Painters to work in a high-tech Inspection Center and help prepare vehicles for customers. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana describes itself as a fast-growing used automotive retailer with vehicle Reconditioning Centers where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. Entry-level employees may receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities
