About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter and support an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. The role involves repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.

The position offers hands-on experience in a production shop and opportunities for career growth, including promotion from within. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits from day one, receive weekly pay, and may be eligible for overtime if paid hourly. Paid vacation and holidays begin accruing on the first day, and paid skilled training and certifications are available, including I-CAR and ASE.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.
