About The Position

GEICO is seeking an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster to work in Montgomery County/Rockville, Maryland. This is not a remote role; the position requires work in the territory listed in the posting and may involve remote, field, or in-office work. The adjuster will use technical and industry knowledge to handle complex claims and settle claims promptly and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must have at least 12 months of auto damage experience. The annual salary range is $36.63–$57.49; the final compensation offer depends on factors including the role’s scope and responsibilities, experience, education and training, work location, and market and business considerations. GEICO does not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position.

Requirements

At least 12 months of auto damage experience and a demonstrated track record of success delivering excellent customer service and promptly and accurately settling claims.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company underwriting guidelines.
Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
Willingness to be flexible with primary work location; the position may require remote, field, or in-office work.
Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand these abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
